PRIOR TO PICKING UP A FORM, PLEASE READ NOMINATION REQUIREMENTS AND DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES POSTED ON THE MAIN NOTICE BOARD LOCATED NEAR THE TSC FRONT DESK.

IF THERE IS MORE THAN ONE APPLICANT FOR A POSITION, VOTING WILL TAKE PLACE NOVEMBER 23^RD-27^TH.

Year end for the Thornhill Seniors Club is August 31^st, 2015. With over 1,400 members we have to start renewals early to get all completed by August 31^st.  For the coming year membership fees remain at $30.00, $42.00 for members residing out of the Markham area.

Renewals start Thursday, July 2^nd.

If you are an out of area member and have not renewed by August 31^st membership will be granted until September 18^th, after that date it will not be renewed and your name will have to go on the waiting list.

If you have or are turning 90 years of age by August 31st, 2015 please advise when renewing your membership and you will be granted Honorary (free) Membership.

APPLICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP (Persons not living in the Markham Area:)

Seventy five percent (75%) of our members have to be residents in the City of Markham. Until all membership renewals are complete we are unable to consider those on our waiting list.

Many of our programmes are available to non-members so please pick up an Activity Schedule from the front desk listing our Summer Programmes, fall ones will be available later.

May 12, 2015 found 150 members of TSC joined together to celebrate “Volunteers’ Day”. Our great Club could not operate as successfully as it does without this team of wonderful people who give much personal time to help daily events and activities. Each volunteer received a restaurant gift card for a choice of eight local establishments from the Club, as a thank you. Several sponsors generously donated food or financially, their time and waited on tables, plus kitchen duties to allow the ‘events team’ to enjoy their lunch at one of the nineteen tables on this occasion. A delicious platter of sandwiches, a fresh vegetable platter+dip followed by a generous serving of cake was enjoyed by all.
Praise to all the fine Volunteers at T.S.C…..we could not flourish and be triumphant without you.
