This year, our Volunteer Appreciation Lunch was hosted by Glynnwood Retirement Residence.  Many thanks to Sandy Greene and the Glynnwood service staff for all their hard work.

Approximately 120 Volunteers attended over 2 dates, where they enjoyed delicious chicken and veggie pasta, salads and homemade desserts in a lovely setting.

We sincerely thank all of the TSC Volunteers for their valued contribution to our Club.  We couldn’t do it without you!

Just a reminder that the Club will be closed on Monday May 21st for Victoria Day.  The only activities that will run on this day are:

Table Tennis – 8am -12pm – N. Hall

Euchre – 1-3:30pm – C. Hall

Bridge – 1- 4pm – S. Hall

Just a reminder of the Pre-Mother’s Day Expo tomorrow (May 10th) in the Center Hall.

11:30am-12:30pm Lunch Special!  2 slices of pizza and a can of pop for only $3.00.  Limited quantities.

Thank you to all who attended our Spring Fling Lunch yesterday.  We enjoyed deluxe sandwiches, veggie platters and homemade desserts prepared by Nina from Canterbury Place Retirement Residence (Thanks so much Nina!).  Beautiful Begonias decorated the tables (kindy donated by Chez Luis Flowers).  Our very own DJ Don Tai (Director of Physical Programs) got people up and dancing.  Door prizes and a 50/50 Draw capped off the event.  A great time had by all!  Thanks to Gloria O’Shell (Director of Special Events) and her team of Volunteers for all their hard work.

Please note that 12:30 Bridge Practice in Seniors Room 1&2 has also been cancelled for today.
