Due to road construction on John Street, the south parking lot entrance has been blocked off.  Enter the parking lot via Bayview or Green lane instead.

The Thornhill Community Centre will undergo a major energy retrofit project that will affect some amenities.  See details HERE.

Due to the full building closure on June 2, ALL TSC Programs will be cancelled.  Those registered in Mixed Media Art, Zumba & Watercolour will be offered a make-up class on Monday June 23 or a 1 class credit.

The gymnasium will be closed from June 1 – June 29,  therefore no Pickleball or Badminton will run during this period.

Thanks for you patience during the two week closure of the Seniors Centre while the heating & air conditioning units were replaced.  Due to the new units being heavier than the previous ones, the roof of the Seniors Centre was reinforced. With heat having to be switched off & the unpleasant smell of welding in the air, it was necessary to relocate programs during this time. Happy to say we are back to normal now & look forward to the comfort the new units provide.

Our Cafe has also re-opened on Tuesdays!  Stop by for a hot or cold drink & snack between 11-1.

A reminder that the Club will be closed & all activities cancelled on Good Friday, April 18 & Easter Monday, April 21 (only Duplicate Bridge will run on the 21st).  The Club opens as usual on Tuesday April 22.

Due to the Volunteer Appreciation Lunch on Wednesday April 23, the TSC Front Desk will be open to purchase punch cards from 10:00 – 11:15am only.  The Cafe will close at 11am after the Carpet Bowling coffee break.

On Wednesday April 16th, a crane will be operating in the south/east parking lot near the Seniors Centre entrance.  A section of this lot, including the disabled parking spaces, will be completely blocked off in the morning.  If you can avoid this area entirely, please do so.  All programs are running as usual.

Please note that there is a provincial hockey tournament happening in the Thornhill Community Centre this week. Parking may be limited so please allow for extra time to park before your activity. Remember that our Seniors Centre entrance is closed until April 22.

Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with us on Monday March 17th from 11:45am -12:45pm, where our Cafe will be serving beef Irish stew for just $2! Eat in or take home. TSC Members only (membership card required). Limited quantities.
