Just a reminder that we are taking registrations tomorrow (Monday Dec 13th) for Zumba Gold at 12:30pm and Watercolour at 3pm, outside of the South Hall.  If you were unable to make it in last week, at either of those times you may also register for Yoga, Chair Yoga, Line Dance, Beginner Bridge Lessons and Tai Chi.  Program dates and times can be found here.

Learn to Play Bridge!

TSC is pleased to offer an 8 week Session of Beginner Bridge Lessons on Thursdays from 9:30am-11:30am beginning January 6th, 2022 in Seniors Activity Rooms 1&2.  Fee $50 (cash only).  Jean Collins will be instructing.

Today, the City of Markham marks the 100th Anniversary of the poppy as Canada’s symbol of Remembrance.  Watch the Remembrance Day video here.

Individuals are also invited to place a poppy and pay their respects to our veterans at Markham’s memorial sites:  Markham Village Veterans Square and Cenotaph, Southeast corner of Markham Road and Highway 7, Markham Village & Crosby Memorial Arena Cenotaph, 210 Main Street, Unionville.

We are pleased to offer a FREE Watercolour Demo class with instructor Bonnie Steinberg, on Monday November 1st from 1-2pm in the Centre Hall.  All levels welcome. email cpetrowtsc@gmail.com to register. Limited space and no drop-ins.

Following this Demo class, students can pre-pay for a 6 week session on Mondays from 1:00-3:00pm from November 8th – December 13th in the Centre Hall. Session fee is $90.

Don’t forget to bring your $40 cash or cash/ticket combo should you choose to sign up for the session.

Please arrive 15 minutes early with your vaccine certificate and photo ID.  Participants are also asked to complete the City’s COVID-19 online screening questionaire.  To fast-track entry, complete the questionnaire on your smartphone and show the staff the approval screen.  You may also complete it on your home computer and print the approval page.  If you do not have a phone or computer, the staff can complete the form for you when you arrive (this will take longer).
