With a heavy heart we share the news that long time TSC Member Jim Armstrong has passed away after battling a long illness.
Jim and his wife Gina led our Line Dance program for many years prior to the COVID shutdown, with Gina teaching the steps and Jim in charge of music.
Jim will be sorely missed by his many friends at TSC.ย See service details here.
My deepest sympathy to Gina and the rest of the family. Even though I knew him for a short time he left a great impression. My thoughts are with you. Rita
Remembering Jim as a kind hearted man who faithfully and cheerfully came to our line dance classes as our terrific DJ. Missed by family and many friends. RIP.
So sorry to hear of your loss
You have some special memories to keep in your heart forever
You were a special couple
Jim was a wonderful man
Our heartfelt condolences to you, Gina, and your family, on your loss. We will always remember Jim with great fondness and miss his music in our line dance class. May he Rest In Peace.
Dear Gina,
Jim and I are shocked and saddened to hear the news that your dear Jim has passed away. He was such a lovely, charming man, so sweet, suave and debonair, always impeccably dressed and always friendly and smiling. He had a wonderful sense of humour and was a pleasure to have known. It has been such a horrible two years of not being able to go to The Westway and we had so hoped to see you and Jim soon. I will miss line dancing at Thornhill Community Centre with you so expertly teaching the group and Jim so reliably playing the music.
Please let us know if there is anything at all we can do for you at this sad, difficult time. We hope it helps you to know that we are thinking of you and remembering dear Jim.
