With a heavy heart we report the peaceful passing of TSC Volunteer, Larry Knight, on Wednesday February 17th at MacKenzie Health Palliative Care where he was surrounded by family – his daughter Lesley, son Adam, mom Betty and partner Anne.
Larry was a very active Member of TSC where he enjoyed Pickleball, Carpet Bowling and Darts as well as volunteering in our Cafe on Friday afternoons until his illness made it too difficult.
Larry will be sorely missed and fondly remembered by his many friends at TSC. Please feel free to leave your comments.

My sincere condolences to Anne and Larry’s family…he was a remarkable man
and what a fighter despite the prolonged pain he was in…I remember him coming
out to play Pickleball with his walker before the pandemic and despite his pain and
being medicated, he would still fascinate us with his physical expertise and winnable
slam shot whenever we gave him the chance…what a great guy… RIP Larry.

Sincere condolences to Larry’s family. We will all miss Larry. He was such a nice guy! He taught my wife and I pickleball techniques when we first started playing at Thornlea. We are deeply indebted to him for his help. Sometimes we played at Parkway Forest community center where the sun and its reflections would affect visibility at certain times; when Larry came in, he would use garbage bags to cover the windows. The world has lost someone very special!
