No social gatherings at the Club, no participation in any of the Club’s many activities, no dropping in to say Hi and to see the faces of friends and dedicated Volunteers who help to create the friendly atmosphere that exists at the Club. Instead, we’ve had to change our lifestyle and adapt to ensure the safety of ourselves and everyone else around us. So as the year comes to a close, my wish is that the new year will bring a renewed sense of hope for an eventual safe reopening of the Club that our Members rely on for support and friendship. “MARKHAM, ON – December 21, 2020 – Today, the Government of Ontario announced a Province-wide Shutdown, effective on Saturday, December 26 at 12:01AM. Together with the rest of southern Ontario, Markham will remain in shutdown until Saturday, January 23, 2021.

The GREY-LOCKDOWN stage restrictions as set out in the Province’s Keeping Ontario Safe and Open COVID-19 response framework remain in effect for the City of Markham. However, the Province-wide Shutdown has added further restrictions that must also be observed.” Read details HERE.

As most of you are aware, beginning today, the City of Markham has moved to the GREY-LOCKDOWN Zone for an estimated period of 28 days.
