TSC is pleased to be partnering with Year Round Travel to offer a variety of great trips in 2025. See the latest offerings on our Travel page or on the bulletin board at the Club.

A number of exciting day trips will be added in the coming weeks so be sure to check back!

To promote the well-being of our Members, we want to encourage them to come into TSC to socialize and join in our Drop-in activities. Beginning January 13, 2025, TSC Members 90 years of age & older can attend our Drop-in activities* at no charge!

For those who qualify – Once you have used up your punch card, bring your photo ID to the TSC Front Desk where you will receive a permanent Honourary Member Drop-In card. Show this card to the Convenor at the Drop-in program* to have your activity fee waived.

*Exceptions:  Duplicate Bridge remains $6 cash & BINGO cards remain 25 cents each.  

The Thornhill Community Centre is changing the lighting to more efficient LEDs in the pool, gymnasium & fitness centre area.  Due to this, the following TSC gym programs will be CANCELLED on THURSDAY, JANUARY 16th:

9- 11am Pickleball Intermediate

11am- 1pm Pickleball All Levels Practice

1:15-3:15pm Badminton All Levels

Due to partition wall repairs in the halls, on Wednesday January 8^th the following TSC programs will be cancelled: Table Tennis  8-11am, Wellness Exercise 9:45-11am, Carpet Bowling 10am-12pm, Wellness Plus + 11:05am-12:10pm & Duplicate Bridge 1-4pm.

Contract Bridge will be relocated to the old Pro Shop.

As the year comes to a close I find myself reflecting on the past year – our 20th anniversary – and looking forward to 2025.

We have had a successful year and that was because of our dedicated volunteers, those at the front desk, cafe and the many convenors who deliver our almost 60 programs to our members.

I would also like to thank Cindy Petrow and Brian Bailey who are imperative to the successful operation of the TSC.

We have had numerous events to celebrate our anniversary including our summer bbq and our recent successful holiday lunch at Mandarin.

I would also like to thank our sponsors for their continuing support.

I am pleased that the club now has almost a 1000 members who participate in our numerous programs.

I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Chanukah and a healthy and happy holiday and look forward to seeing everyone back in 2025.
