Stay safe everyone!
Hello Everyone. We hope you are well and safe at home in this challenging time.
The internet, tv and radio are doing a good job of keeping us all current on the COVID-19 situation. We trust you are following the instructions of government officials and healthcare professionals to protect yourself and others.
At this time, there is no indication of when the Thornhill Community Centre or the Club will reopen. Please continue to check the City of Markham website for the most up to date information on COVID-19 and City services.
During this period of social distancing, we encourage you to reach out to your fellow Members. A simple phone conversation is all it takes to check in and lift someone’s spirits. Online video chat apps like Zoom, Skype and Face Time are also wonderful tools for staying connected.
We will get through this together.
Take good care and we hope to see you back at the Club soon.
P.S. Good News, Carpet Bowlers. Your 2 new mats have finally arrived! A little something extra to look forward to when we reopen.
Please bookmark the City of Markham’s COVID-19 Information and Updates page for tips on protecting yourself and other helpful resources.
At the direction of the City of Markham, The Thornhill Community Centre, including The Thornhill Seniors Club, will be closed effective midnight tonight.
NO programs will be running during the closure and only authorized City staff will be allowed into the building.
We will update as more information becomes available. We ask that you please share this information with fellow Club Members who may not have access to web updates.
TSC Art Students – You will receive a full credit for any missed classes.
Take good care everyone!
